SA, Inc. Children and Family Services provides a wide spectrum of services to children and families throughout the Pacific Northwest. During 2006, we will continue delivering cost-efficient services to the people and communities of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. We believe in the intrinsic value of family and its role as the strongest foundation of society. Our services consist of being: strength-based, family-centered, customer-driven, outcome-based and tailored to the needs of our local communities and the children being served.
In our second decade of service we continue to focus on family preservation and reunification within a well-developed structure of coordinated professional services. We strive to maintain the family structure or return a child to family living within as short period of time as appropriate. Our primary goal is to empower families to help themselves by building upon their strengths and increasing their community resources. Because we build our programs around diverse communities, no two Service Alternatives programs are exactly alike, but all share the same commitments to you, which include:
- Protection - We commit to protecting all children--especially those who cannot protect themselves.
- Permanence - Every child deserves a place to call home. This may include relative care, guardianship, adoption and/or independent living.
- Skill Development - Teaching skills to manage and succeed in the 'real' world.
- Independence - Preparing children to be self-sufficient productive citizens of their local communities.
- Future Planning – Assisting with the development of future goals and aspirations to lead children into adulthood.
